TooFaced A few of My Favorite Things Palette!

The photos are pretty self explanatory! Heres the color swatches and palette together! The entire palette is extremely pigmented, long lasting, and creamy. I picked this up at Sephora for $59. I honestly have to say its one of the best investments in the make up world that I have made! you can do so many different looks with it and theres a nice mixture of shimmers and mattes! Theres to photos of the swatches on my arm because the top one is with indoor lighting and flash, the bottom one is outdoor natural lighting.

Random Vent

Let me just start off with I am not trying to offend anyone with what I am saying. But I think I need a little updating. Or maybe I am just selfless and know how to take care of myself.

I dont know if I grew up in a different era or not, considering some of the things I read on tumblr, twitter, and other social media sites just baffle the hell out of me. And I dont consider myself to be old yet. I am not referring to any one person since I have seen this numerous times now…. But today it kind of bothered me more then any other day after reading it.

Someone posted on tumblr “Guess whose not going to school cause her parents cant afford it”…… In my head, I had so many things pop up. Like: Parents are supposed to pay for YOUR school? When they are already paying for YOU to live with them, to feed YOU, to keep YOU healthy and clean, to play on the internet, to have a cell phone? Or how selfish can someone be to openly air the fact that their parents are financially struggling? Or how about why the hell isnt anyone independent anymore? Like seriously? You have no right to bitch if theres not a dime coming out of your pocket!

So many selfish people in this world who think the world revolves around them and cant seem to do anything for themselves. Let me tell you something. My parents were, and still are financially struggling my entire life. I came from a poor family yes. My mom didnt work. My dad was always gone working full time. My mom still doesnt work and probably never will. When I was 13 years old I got my first job doing side work for people. I attended middle school everyday, got straight a’s, and worked full time hours after school. I have literally worked full time since I was 13 years old. I used my money to help pay for things around my parents house. I had to do chores everyday. Washing dishes, helping cook, washing clothes, vacuuming, raking the yard, etc. I was not allowed to sit online all fucking day. I was aloud 1 hour of online time and 1 hour for talking on the phone. Bed time was 8:30 pm every night.

When I was 16 years old I got my own car, had my own money, and moved to Germany. I lived in Germany for 3 years. Loved it. Supported myself, worked full time there. I moved back to my previous state when I was 19. Got a full time job here in one week. Got my apartment here a week after that. ALL ON MY OWN. NO HELP FROM ANYONE. Nor did I need it, nor did I ask for it. When I was 22, I bought my very first house. ALL ON MY OWN. Im still living here and I have been here for 5 year now. Still with no help from anyone. 

So heres what I really want to say…… You have no right at all in this world to be cluttering up the air with your constant bitching cause you arent going to get what you want. Put on your big girl panties, get off your fucking ass, and do something for yourself. IF YOU CANT DO THINGS FOR YOURSELF YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN WHEN SOMEONE ELSE CANT DO IT FOR YOU! So get off the fucking internet, go get yourself a job, and start saving your money. Cause if you depend on someone else right now, your going to depend on them for the rest of your life and get NO WHERE!

And just remember: When your parents cant pay for something and your upset about it….. Guess how much that breakfast, lunch and dinner costed them. Guess how much it costed them for you to take a shower for the last how many years of your life. Guess how much they have paid in the last year for you to use THEIR internet, THEIR phone, and everything else THEY own that you keep mooching from? Be thankful you are not homless and that THEY pay for that monthly mortgage to keep THEIR house so you have a nice warm, safe, place to live!

DIY Make-Up Brush Holder

So for a few weeks now I have had an empty glass candle container. Knowing what I wanted to do with it was easy. But finding everything I needed was not. So heres what I did, the break down, and how you can do it too!

Bath and Body Works was having a huge sale with 50% off some of their 3 wick candles. So I bought a few.... or more. Now it doesnt have to be a BBW candle. You can purchase any size you like that fits your preference from any drugstore, ie: Walmart, Meijer, Walgreen, Rite-Aid, Dollar Store, etc. I first spent my time just burning my candle over a course of time. No hurry at all since at the time I had no idea this is what I would be using it for! Once the wax was almost completely gone I threw it in the freezer for about 4 hours to easily get the excess wax out. It usually comes out in one big chunk this way. After the wax is out I washed the container with soap and water and removed all labels and stickers.

Today I just happened to be doing absolutely nothing and decided to take my dog for a ride and check my po box. Since Dollar General was right new my post office I decided to go in for no particular reason. I was literally almost done shopping (an hour later lol poor dog) when I came across this coarse white sand. It actually seems like its crushed up seashells or very small, fine rock. Wishing it was in a different color, like pink or blue, but beggers cant be choosers ya know? That light bulb popped in my head! I was thinking "THIS WILL BE PERFECT!" Even better, it was one $1!!!!!!!! WIN!!!

When I got home, I recorded a video of all the goodies i got from the day, just to brag that I only spent $20 total and got TONS of stuff from 2 different stores! And I know how everyone loves my haul videos!! So right after my video I went straight to work! Grabbed my empty candle container, grabbed my sand, barley containing myself that I had such an ingenious Idea!! (Just Kidding!) So I poured slightly more than half the sand filler into my empty glass candle container, grabbed all my E.L.F. Professionals make-up brushes (MY FAVES) and stuck them all into the sand as desired! And Waaaalaaaaa!!! Finished!!

I am so freakin ecstatic that this worked out so well!! I am having a super proud moment that this costs less then $5 to make depending on where you buy the candle or glass jar! It only took 2 items that were super cheap to make something that looks so neat, organized, and amazing! I hope you all enjoy and have fun making your own!! If you do make one PLEASE!!!! Cosmetics

A few people have messaged me on tumblr some not so nice things that I really didnt appreciate about certain situations. Now I dont know who they are because they messaged me on anon. I do just want to put a kabosh to the rumors though for you who think anything other wise.

Not to long along I joined up with the Prinsess Cosmetics team. I dont think I had ever been so excited! There were rules where you had to do 2-4 photos a week of a full face makeup using their lipstick as well. I was totally fine with this. Through out the next few weeks it was like I was being asked to send photo after photo after photo for all kinds of different things which was just crazy since it was all done through facebook and I do everything from my phone so I rarely get updates on my phone from FB. I dealt with it but it was so disorganized for me.

It was like there were to many bosses, to many things going on that had not been in the contract whatsoever. I did pay $15 to cover shipping charges for lipsticks that I was supposed to be receiving. I got 2 packages total while I was with Prinsess Cosmetics. Both packages were HIGHLY disappointing to me! The first package I got was just one small pot of lip stick, in a very beautiful color might I add called "Classy". That was it. However it was in the smallest container ever to me.

With that being said I was in shock. The only person that knew about it though was my husband. The last time I was with a company that was not paying me they sent me a TON of things, large things, etc. But I was just thinking, let me stick this out, it will get better. THEN, the second package came. And I was actually kind of furious, but again being nice I did not tell anyone except for my husband. Second package came with pots that were 3/4 of the size of the first one. With like a dab of lip color.....

As you can see theres like a few drops in the 3 tiny containers and then the one I got from the first package is a full container. Now I think I may have had one or two more of those small ones come in my package but honestly they are so small that I have no idea where they are. Also in the second package came my custom shade that she made specifically for me called "Barbie Unrated". This one I was pretty excited about! Finally a full container of lipstick and it was pretty!

I loved it! Kind of. I cant say these lipsticks were really ever my favorite. I think I may just have to smooth and soft lips for these. Im not sure why but they would not stay on my lips, they would actually like slide off to just the edges of my lips making my lips look horribly cracked or something. I do love the colors though!! The colors are amazing and very pigmented.

I was then informed if we had gotten 2 packages in one month that we would not receive one for the next month. Which was even more disappointing for me when I knew I would probably end up running out of my "Barbie Unrated" lipstick. And the fact that I just felt like I spent $15 on next to nothing. I am sorry guys. I am not trying to bash Prinsess Cosmetics in anyway but the fact that I had recieved a few messages from people who would not show their faces calling me a bitch, slut, cunt, etc, for backing out of PC..... Just kind of put the icing on the cake for me. I had no problems whatsoever backing out and neither did the owner. And she even refunded my money. But this is just explaining to those who were bad mouthing me for leaving, the real true reason I wanted to leave.

There was only one other thing that played a HUGE factor in me not wanting to promote for Prinsess Cosmetics anymore. That was the simple fact that I had numerous people email me telling me they wanted to purchase my lipstick "Barbie Unrated" and they couldnt. They were telling me they couldnt find it on the website. I didnt even think of it or looking for it before that. So I went to the site and sure enough it wasnt even listed on there. None of the photos I had posted promoting it were on there. 

The feelings I had after noticng this were like betrayal. Like I had done all this promoting only to find out that it wasnt even on the website for people to buy! I felt like I was being unfair to all my followers! But I was being nice again and only told my husband about it. I thought maybe she was just busy and what not and didnt want to bother her. But when I finally did ask about it She said she knew she was missing someone and put it on the website right away. Which made me super happy. But then I find out even though it was on there it wouldnt let you select my color. She then informs me that shes starting a new website cause that one wasnt working right. So I was like YAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!

I went to the new website and it looked awesome! It was pretty and more up to date and user friendly. Then I noticed again, my lipstick wasnt on there. So I gave it a few days or week or something cause I knew they had asked for more photos to post on the website so I had sent more. And still, everyone elses lipstick was listed on there.... and mine wasnt. It just out right pissed me off, but again I never said anything to anyone. I dont like to be mean to people or stir anything up with others.

A few days later she messaged all us girls and said there were some personal problems going on in her life and she would be taking a break from her company for a few months. And asked us if we wanted to stay or leave. I chose to leave. She was fine with it. I was fine with it, and again she refunded almost all my money. So I thought this was great, wished her the best of luck and we were all moving on. So again. I am not bashing the company. I just felt like I was promoting them and not getting much in return. And this may sound bad but Ive done quite a bit of promoting (mostly with modeling) and I have never felt that way about any of it. So I am sorry to the girls of Prinsess Cosmetics if this offends any of you. But I am defending myself due to the hateful/hurtful messages that I received from someone that apparently knows all about Prinsess Cosmetics.

Introduction

I will be blogging from time to time to update things in my life. I would like to try to keep this blog mostly positive but I cant make any promises! I will most likely end up venting to you all about my daily frustrations. So with that being said here we go!

I am 27 years old at the moment. I bought my house when I was 22 years old. And my bedroom.... it looks a little something like this:

 

So, with that being said you all can see I have a slight obsession with pink and animal print! Zebra and Leopard specifically. I do love Hello Kitty, sparkles, shopping, roller blading, spending time at the beach and with my animals. I also like tattoos and piercings.

Im super tall for a chick, yes I used to model, no I do not model any more. Long story short I had a really bad experience the last time I modeled. I decided for my own safety I would just be an online icon.
